For almost 50 years, the MIT Lecture Series Committee has been presenting first-run and classic movies to the MIT Community on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings. Take advantage of LSC's unique ability to present information to a captive audience of over 900 students each weekend with our inexpensive and easy slide advertising program.

Our advertisers range from corporations seeking the best graduates in the country to small MIT groups wishing to inexpensively advertise their upcoming event. We work closely with all our advertisers to ensure that their experience with advertising at LSC is superior. We can create a slide from almost any computer file or printed submission such as flyers, signs, or small posters, and transform your artwork into a beautiful 35mm full-color slide. Your slide then will be presented before the audience at each of our movies just before showtime to maximize your advertisement's effectiveness.

* If you don't have Acrobat Reader, you can download it free for many operating systems.

In case of electronic submissions to lsc-slides@mit.edu, we ask you to please try to use one of the following formats:

PNG
TIFF
GIF
JPG

with our preference being in that order. Also, please use at least a 150dpi resolution (remember, the image is blown up to over 30' diagonal!) and have the image be in landscape mode with a size of 10" x 6.66".

Slides turned in after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday before the first day the slide is to be shown will incur a late fee. Pre-made slides are due at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday before the weekend of showing. Note that special deadlines may apply at the beginning and end of term; call for details on advertising at those special events.
