car crash, Julie (Juliette Binoche) decides to build a new, anonymous and 
wholly independent life. Leaving her country mansion for a Paris apartment, 
she soon finds that freedom is not as easy to achieve as she had hoped. 
Neighbors seek her help and friendship, and she is inflamed with jealousy by 
doubts about her husband's fidelity.
Directed by Krzystof Kieslowski, this is the first film of the Trois 
Couleurs trilogy.  In French with English subtitles.
