There's Something About Mary (1998)
movie picture
The writers of Kingpin and Dumb and Dumber have ventured into the
genre of romantic comedy. Ted (Ben Stiller) , a classic high-school
loser, somehow manages to date Mary (Cameron Diaz), the girl of
everyone's affection. All this ends, however, after an unfortunate
incident involving a zipper. Thirteen years later, Ted still longs for
Mary, so he hires a seedy private investigator (Matt Dillon) to find
her. When the shady detective falls in love with Mary as well, the two
suitors engage in an outrageous no-holds-barred battle for her
affections. Most memorable are the laugh-out-loud, "I can't
believe I just saw that on film" sight gags that aren't for the
easily offended.

The Mask of Zorro (1998)
movie picture
Twenty years ago, Don Diego de la Vega (Anthony Hopkins), fought for

price for his rebellion. Now, his mortal enemy Rafael Montero has
returned to California with a devious scheme and Diego's
beautiful daughter Elena (Catherine Zeta-Jones). Diego seeks his
revenge with the help of an uncouth young outlaw (Antonio
Banderas). Full of romance, intrigue, and swashbuckling action, this

20 Dates (1998)
A FREE SNEAK PREVIEW!
Figuring that love is basically a 20-to-1 shot, real-life director
Myles Berkowitz decides to go on twenty dates in search of true love.
With the help of a small renegade film crew, he films his twenty dates
and presents this "mockumentary" of his exploits. In his words, "For anyone
who's ever gone out on a date, this film will send chills running down
your spine. For anyone who's ever dated me, this film may send you running
to your lawyer." Winner of the Audience Award at the 1998 Slamdance
Film Festival.
