Mission: Impossible (1996) Tom Cruise stars as Ethan Hunt, a member of the IMF team, an American spy agency. This follow-up to the original '60s TV series features John Voight as Jim Phelps, still the leader of the IMF team after all these years. When a mission goes awry, Ethan is thrust into a mission of his own, to discover a plot to unmask every American agent in the European theater.

As they get closer to their destination, the friction between the two teams increases, particularly as they discover that "something" is in the abyss. Stars Ed Harris and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio.
